If you're passionate about First Amendment freedoms and American civil liberties, we want to hear from you.
Ideally, we would like to offer, at no cost, the legal services of qualified, experienced, and genuinely selfless attorneys in the State of Florida to victims of SLAPPs.
Please reach out to us even if you're not sure if you have the time to make a measurable difference in the important work we endeavor to carry out.
Perhaps you're able to make yourself accessible via e-mail to answer a question or three from a pro se defendant in a non-meritorious defamation action.
Of course, it's our ultimate objective to have, at the ready, an attorney who will take on one SLAPP defense each year, pro bono. Perhaps that's hoping for too much; but the proliferation of these wretchedly disgusting complaints is at an alarming level.
